FROM THEN TO NOW: A YEARLY RECAP

Confucius said: 'Choose a job you love, never work a day in your life.' That's bull. A year ago, I left a decade of the corporate hustle to do Analog Music Co full time. And it's not always an easy walk – longer hours, the myriad challenges of running a business, and saying goodbye to free office coffee, a reserved parking spot, and the office printer.

But when I think back to my office days? Man, it's night and day. There was a certain buzz to the old life, the energy of deals, the traveling. But the grind? The 'we're one big family' spiel, endless meetings, bully bosses, backstabbing colleagues, and that constant need to prove your worth - I don’t miss one bit.

Now, every moment feels authentic. It's about freedom in its truest sense: the freedom to create, to choose, to be yourself, to express yourself, to take risks, to lead your own story.

It’s not all smooth sailing, of course. There are those tough days, the money's not always right - no guaranteed salary. In fact, nothing's guaranteed. But I wouldn't trade it. I'm grateful for the right choice I made, and thankful to the universe for giving me the opportunity to choose.

Thank you all for your steadfast support. As we set forth on this new chapter, my mother's words echo in my mind: 'Per Aspera Ad Astra 🐞.' She used to send me this message, always whenever I needed support.

Through challenges, we reach for the stars. Let's embrace the second act together!
